Yeah for Spring

Sooo excited that Spring is finally here...  Last weekend I met up with Jessica and her family.  I met Jessica a couple of weekends ago through a mutual friend and we immediately hit it off.  She is sooo sweet as well as the rest of her gang.  It was another beautiful day at Aldridge Gardens.

I brought some confetti and glitter for the kids to play with.... they had a blast.  I apologize to Aldridge Gardens for the mess I left.  :)

Meet Mr. G

I had a great day today... I got to play with Mr. G who is a little over 2 weeks old.  I have been looking forward to this ever since we found out the great news that Scott & Ashley were expecting.  Expecting as in they had been choosen to be Mr. G's parents about a month before he was born.  Such a great story...  Scott & Ashley had been trying to conceive and had gone done many avenues without success.  I guess it was the end of last year that they decided to take the adoption route.  I had done a photo session with Scott & Ashley before Christmas and during that session we did headshots so they could use them for their adoption paperwork.  So... they filled out all the paperwork and of course were told they were on the list and just had to wait.  In the meantime Scott (who is in the pharmaceutical field) was telling their story to a OB/GYN.  Unbelieavable... this OB/GYM had a patient who was pregnant and was planning to give the baby up for adoption and had not yet choosen parents.  You guessed it, after seeing their application (with pictures) and meeting them, she chose Scott & Ashley!!  God truly works in mysterious ways.  True love was shown by the mother who decided to carry this sweet baby boy  for 9 months and place him in the hands of two people that have wanted nothing more. 

CONGRATULATIONS Scott & Ashley... Mr. G is beautiful!!
